UAE Fitness Competitions: November 2026 Preview

Plan your November with verified hybrid races, obstacle events and team fitness competitions across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Kalba.

November brings several very different ways to compete in the UAE: track-based hybrid racing, short obstacle courses, team workouts and a full HYROX weekend. Choosing the right event starts with understanding the format—not just finding a free date.

This is a selected preview, not an exhaustive calendar. Dates and details were checked against organizer or registration pages on 20 October 2026. Availability, fees and schedules can change; follow the linked source before paying.

7 November: Deadly Dozen Dubai

Where: Dubai Police Officers’ Club athletic track, Al Jaddaf.

Deadly Dozen combines twelve 400-metre runs, each followed by a functional exercise station. That means 4.8 kilometres of running, interrupted by work that changes how the next lap feels.

It is worth considering if you enjoy both running and gym training, but do not mistake the shorter running intervals for an easy race. Check the Dubai entry page for available divisions, prescribed loads and movement standards before choosing your category.

10–29 November: LABR at JLT Park

Where: JLT Park, Cluster Q, Dubai.

LABR offers sixty-minute sessions for crews of two. The format uses six lanes of carrying, pulling and moving loads, with work periods and breaks. The organizer welcomes first-timers and says loads are scaled to participants.

This is an option for friends who want a shared challenge without committing to a conventional running race. It is a series of bookable sessions, not a single race lasting three weeks. Choose your actual session date and read the rules before registering.

13 November: Kalba Sports Festival obstacle race

Where: Kalba, Sharjah; confirm the exact meeting point with the organizer.

The registration listing describes an individual 1.2-kilometre obstacle course, starting at 4:00 PM, with age categories beginning at 15. The listed fee is AED 80 including VAT, plus an 8% service fee.

Registration is scheduled to close on 12 November, or earlier if full. The short distance does not tell you everything about the challenge: obstacles can test grip, coordination and agility as well as endurance.

14 November: Urban Obstacle Juniors Championship

Where: Gravity Calisthenics Gym, Dubai.

This youth OCR and parkour competition welcomes athletes aged 6–13. The listing gives a noon start and describes challenges involving strength, balance, grip, coordination and obstacle skills.

Parents should check category allocation, supervision arrangements and arrival instructions directly. Registration is listed to close at 00:00 on 12 November, so do not assume entries remain open until that evening. Fees need checking on the registration page.

14–15 November: Apex Games Abu Dhabi

Where: 321 Sports, Hudayriyat Island, Abu Dhabi.

Apex combines endurance and functional workouts. Its official calendar confirms the Abu Dhabi weekend and venue, with Pro, Open and Junior division information linked from the organizer’s site.

Review the actual ticket category and standards rather than assuming “Open” means any movement can be modified. For team entries, confirm the lineup, work-sharing rules and the day your division competes.

20 November: Turf Games Dubai Engine

Where: ISD Stadium, Dubai Sports City.

Friday Night Lights Engine is a pairs event, with male, female and mixed categories. The event description says heats begin at 4:15 PM. Registration is listed at AED 600 per pair plus platform fees.

It is a separate format from the broader Turf Games team competition. Check the Engine-specific standards and instructions, rather than borrowing rules from another Turf event.

27–28 November: HYROX Dubai

Where: Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai.

The official event spans both Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November. HYROX combines eight one-kilometre runs with eight functional stations, with Singles, Doubles and Relay options subject to ticket availability.

Your division determines your race day. The published schedule is provisional, and an event opening time is not your personal wave time. Read the current athlete instructions and confirm your assigned start before arranging travel.

27–29 November: WODON3 at Emirates Dubai 7s

Where: Pitch 3, The Sevens Stadium, Dubai.

WODON3 uses teams of four: two men and two women. The organizer lists AED 1,890 per team, including access to all three festival days.

The competition commitment varies:

Check the standards as a team before selecting a division. Festival access on three days does not mean every division competes on all three.

Compare WODON3 divisions and enter.

Plan around recovery, not just availability

Several late-November events overlap. Entering HYROX and a demanding team competition on the same weekend can create scheduling and recovery problems, even if the ticket pages let you buy both.

Choose your priority event, confirm the division schedule, and agree on travel and costs with teammates before booking. For more options, browse the Roznama event calendar or read our guide to UAE competitions you can enter with friends.
